Inanna has shared words with me Words I delayed in reading Words conveyed to her about faith, inspiration, and god Verse written from a christian Angered and sad they have made me Yet inspired I think of my own thoughts on these things Choose to share To define myself Provide my point of view Belief is a funny thing We all want to be right Who though is justified in saying another is wrong? Yet how to express my views Without saying your are wrong First is to accept that I may be incorrect None of us perfect I ask that you see what my views are Not condemn me for being different from you In return I shall do the same Explain your gods to me I will listen Gain insight on my own definitions of this reality Humans have no choice but to respect faith But we must remember that faith comes in many forms Not just those defined in ancient books |
